I read that one of the proposed health care reform plans would offer insurance to "parents of low-income children." Which cracks me up because aren't all children low-income? "Dangit, Junior! You've got to make some more money, your father and I need insurance! I don't care, get another paper route, then!"

I know they mean parents of children from low-income families but still. Funny.

Also I am so, so, so embarassed of my senator. How could he say something like that??? No wonder the rest of the country thinks we're ignorant rednecks. I would link but if you haven't heard about it I'd rather you didn't. Too disgusting.

Okay need to go. I got a haircut and my hairdresser gave me some hair-smoothing stuff as a graduation gift. Now my hair is all slippery and fun to dry.
