our old house
Written on 03 June 2004 at 11:29 a.m.

This little teeny old lady just came to the door and said that her family built our house back in the 1920's, and that she wanted to take some pictures outside if that was okay. She was really nice and called me "m'dear" and I should have asked her in but the house is a mess and I was embarrassed. Plus I just showered and have my bathrobe on. Plus Murphy was freaking out. Is freaking out, actually.

Anyway. Kind of cool. And apparently the garage used to be a servant's quarters??? And there is some kind of bell where you can ring them. Crazy. My house is not big (2 bed 1 bath,) so weird that people who lived here had servants.

Hmm.

I really need to clean but I don't feel like it, plus there are tons of errands to do and I need to go to my mom's.

I wish this puppy would chill.

xoxoxo

I've heard newborn babies wailin' like a mournin' dove
And old men with broken teeth stranded without love
